Job Description:
As a Chemical Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in operations, ensuring safe and efficient destruction and disposal of chemical weapons. Your previous experience in power plants and off-gas treatment systems will be invaluable in this position.
Job Key Responsibilities:
✅ Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate chemical processing equipment, including reactors, scrubber units, pumps, and control systems.
✅ Monitor Processes: Continuously monitor processes to ensure they are running smoothly and make adjustments as necessary to maintain process quality and safety standards.
✅ Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
✅ Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, taking appropriate corrective actions and reporting any equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.
✅ Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure that products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
✅ Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, process conditions, and production data.
✅ Environmental Compliance: Assist in the proper handling and disposal of chemical waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
✅ Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and maintenance personnel, to achieve production goals and resolve technical issues.
