MOV ON/OFF & Controlling DCS System & Remote Operation

MOV stands for Motor Operated Valve. It is mostly used in oil and gas and power plants, as well as in chemical lines and water lines. Inside it, there is a smart card that immediately sends a signal based on the input command to get the required output. It can work as an ON/OFF valve and also as a control valve, like 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% positions. It is fully functional and can be controlled remotely, plus a manual handle is also installed which can be used for manual operation. It can also be controlled through a DCS system. On its front, there is an HMI which gives a small LED display that shows all the parameters and the current status running inside the valve.”
